Victorian Screen & Storm Door Guide

Door Information 

We strongly recommend that you order the exact size of the door you need. Please do not count on trimming off more than 1/2" off each sideor 1/4" off the top or bottom. There is no frame around the door. It is installed the same as a main exterior door.

We do not sell or install door hardware and your hardware should be purchased locally. There are no left or right hand sides to our door designs; hinges and knobs may be installed on either side.

The doors picture here on the site are 36" x 81". The door design may vary slightly with special sized doors. Where applicable on doors less than 31"wide, the center vertical bar and attached brackets are omitted. All decorative work is on the door, not the screen or panel.

Measuring For Your Door

To measure for your door, measure the actual opening in which the door will be installed.Most openings are out of square, so we ask you to provide more than one measurement of width and height.

Measure the width three times - once across the top, once in the middle and once across the bottom of the opening. Then measure the height twice, once at each side of the opening. In each case send us the largest measurement.
