Shipping 

Because of the size and weight involved, our screen doors and porch furniture ships motor freight collect, meaning you pay the freight company for the shipping charges on delivery. Because of shipping charge minimums, the cost for shipping two doors is the same as for one. Unlike UPS or FedEx deliveries, motor freight shipping requires that you assume a more active role.

Your costs will vary depending on what services you require. The base rate applies to a standard commercial delivery to the loading dock of a business. Additional charges may be levied for services such as:

1. advance notification (call before delivery),
2. home delivery (to the curb), and
3. redelivery (no one home).

Regardless of where it is delivered, someone must be there to inspect, sign for and pay for the freight. We will advise you prior to shipping.

Shipping to a business or picking up at the freight terminal are the most economical choices, avoiding the extra costs associated with residential delivery. We can estimate the shipping costs for you prior to ordering. You may also pick up your order from our shop by appointment at no charge.

Freight items can only be shipped to the contiguous 48 states.

Delivery Time

Most orders for custom doors are ready for delivery in four to six weeks, but delivery times may vary depending on our workload and the size of your order. When your order is scheduled to ship, we will notify you and provide detailed receiving instructions. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. 

Terms
We require payment prior to order shipment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, money order, or personal check. (If you prefer, you may call to give your card number instead of giving online or by email.)

Tax (Virginia residents only)
5% of order total, not including shipping charges.

Returns & Refunds

Please inspect your item carefully on delivery. If there is damage, alert the driver and call us for a return authorization. Shipping costs are not refundable and special orders or custom work is not returnable.
